Thanks to the Posse Foundation, he was able to be uprooted from the urbanized city of Lawndale, CA and experience the new terrain of the East Coast. Rudy’s passion for sustainability in communities through environmental, economic and educational means has led to his involvement with many projects, ranging from public speaking with the Rise Above Plastic’s group focusing on environmental education to working with the nonprofit LAANE on creating small business collations supporting sustainable ways to get rid of waste.
