Gabrielle Simmons

Gabrielle is an upcoming senior at Ball State University with a major in Communications and a minor in Spanish. In college her volunteer experience is mostly fulfilled at Motivate Our Minds, an after school, tutoring program in Muncie, Indiana.  She enjoys working with the 3-5th grade student’s homework, reading, and even some of the girl’s “boy problems.” She plans to go to graduate school in Arizona to receive a Masters in International Relations.  She aspires to have a non-profit organization that is both national and international with a goal to help the homeless.  Her interests lie within photography, philanthropy, and motivating anyone who needs a lift up. She is excited to work first hand in helping youth finding their passion in community service.

Matt Langley

Matt is a senior at Truman State University where he is studying Public Communication. He is also on the soccer team. His passions in life are soccer and music in which he uses to try to connect to others through.  He thoroughly enjoys volunteering and is excited about spreading that joys to others through helping them find volunteering opportunities as well. 

Talan Tyminski

Talan is a rising junior at Bradley University in Peoria, IL where she is a double major of political science and economics. Talan is a member of Bradley’s National Champion speech team and individually is currently 3rd in the nation in Extemporaneous speaking and overall, ranked as one of the top 20 speakers in the country. In addition to competitive success Talan, was elected the national student representative for the forensics community. She enjoys leaning about different cultures, giving back to her community and playing with her dogs. Talan hopes to get her master in economics but in the meantime is beyond honored and excited to have the opportunity to help make the world a better place. 

Katy Dolan

Katy is a junior at Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley, Washington. She is the co-founder of Life Enhancement Through Education in Music, or LETEM play, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that makes music more accessible to kids in the community by providing instruments and instructional clinics. Katy is passionate about bringing music to kids, but she also empowers other youth to make a difference in their community. She is primarily interested in giving a voice to younger generations with valuable ideas who often feel as though they are underappreciated by the adult world. When Katy is not working to impact others, she plays flute, piano, and soccer and maintains her 4.0 GPA. In the future, she hopes to attend Harvard or Stanford University to study medicine or management. 

Carolina Sosa

Carolina is a sophomore at Westfield High School, in Chantilly, VA where she's serves as the class treasurer and is a summa cum laude honor student. She is currently one of the 50 ANNPower and Vital Voices fellows and a member of the Volunteer Fairfax’s Youth Advisory Board, where she and other service minded teens work together to promote youth involvement in the community. Carolina is very passionate about closing the minority achievement gap and is planning to create a mentorship and empowerment program for minority students in her community. In her free time Carolina enjoys dancing salsa, reading, and learning about different cultures.
