Announcing the VolunTEEN Team: Sophie Bernstein

Sophie is an 11th grade student in St. Louis, MO. She is the President of VolunTEEN Nation and Go Healthy St. Louis. Sophie focuses her service efforts on environmental issues and youth with special needs. Her eagerness to help our neighbors have access to recreational sports activities was the spark to create Aces for All. She is an active organizer in all volunTEEN Nation's sports clinics and conservation events. Sophie has received grants from organizations and corporations nationwide to plant vegetable gardens to grow and deliver fresh produce to local food banks to help feed the hungry.

Tyler Harmon

Tyler from Zionsville, Indiana. He will be a senior at Zionsville High School. Tyler is kind hearted and loves to help other people. He also understands the value of hard work through both school, service projects, and competitive swimming. He plans to swim in college.

Sophia Rotman

Sophia is from St. Louis, MO. Sophia attends Washington University in St. Louis. She is a VolunTEEN Nation Student Ambassador in her area and helps plan many of their events. She also is a student volunteer for the Jewish Community Relations Council, as she educates teens in rural Missouri about Judaism hoping to promote unity and respect. In addition, she enjoys volunteering through her Girl Scout troop. She is an active teen volunteer who hopes to help and empower teens around the nation to volunteer as well.

Jonathan Knohl

Jonathan graduated from the University of Alabama in May 2016, majoring in Finance and minoring in Political Science. During high school, Jonathan was very involved with DECA. He served as his chapter's president and competed on the international level during his senior year. At the University of Alabama, Jon fulfilled a leadership role in its DECA Chapter. He is the Southeast Regional Representative for VolunTEEN Nation.

Ken Zheng

Ken graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in May 2014. He studied computer science, He is currently the treasurer and graphics designer for Volunteen Nation.
