Brianna Moyer

Brianna attends Minerva High School as a junior, she works at her local Salvation Army, and she is interested in poverty awareness. She wants to go to college and become a motivational speaker to help kids stay out of trouble. Her dream is to start a organization in her town for poverty awareness and help people in need. She also wants to start a big brother big sister program in 20 schools. She has been a HOBY alumni and attends Advanced Leadership Academy. She wants to encourage more kids to get involved through programs like those! 

Carly Bandt

Carly Bandt is a senior at Mounds View High School in Shoreview, Minnesota. She leads a service club at her school and is the president of the HandsOn Twin Cities Youth Advisory Board, a group that promotes youth engagement with local nonprofits. In addition, she is the Minnesota NCAM ambassador for Youth Service America and a World Vision Youth Communicator. Although her diverse interests have led her to volunteer with a variety of organizations, her passion is for girl empowerment. She is a Teen Advisor for the United Nation Foundation’s Girl Up campaign, an assistant coach for Girls On the Run, and leads a Girl Power group for middle school students. Her goal is to promote self-esteem and healthy lifestyle choices in her community, while simultaneously spreading awareness of the issues girls face in developing nations. Carly aspires to study international business to combine her passions of economics and international issues. For now, she is looking forward to spreading her love of service with others!

Carolina Sosa

Carolina is a sophomore at Westfield High School, in Chantilly, VA where she's serves as the class treasurer and is a summa cum laude honor student. She is currently one of the 50 ANNPower and Vital Voices fellows and a member of the Volunteer Fairfax’s Youth Advisory Board, where she and other service minded teens work together to promote youth involvement in the community. Carolina is very passionate about closing the minority achievement gap and is planning to create a mentorship and empowerment program for minority students in her community. In her free time Carolina enjoys dancing salsa, reading, and learning about different cultures.  
 

Celia Buckman

Celia is a freshman at New Trier High School in a suburb of Chicago. She is passionate about human rights, international development and aid, and the educational value of service learning. Currently, Celia is a UNICEF Young Ambassador, a DoSomething.org Youth Advisory Council Member, and has founded a social action club called FIND (Fix It Now Darn it) and a Girl Up club, for gender equality in developing countries. An active volunteer, Celia loves to help out with disabled children and refugees and enjoys promoting service opportunities on her school's Service Board. In her free time, Celia debates and reads.

Chris Dryden

Chris is a Sophmore at Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the American School of Lima. He hes been working with the Peruvian Ministry of Health to help the ministry create guidelines for their new regulation, and create healthy initiatives at the schools around Lima. He enjoys creating initiatives through social entrepreneurship, and is currently part of Social Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow. He has lived in more than nine countries and visited 34. He is currently part of the Healthy Schools Initiative Global Issues Network team. He wants to study management and take a managerial position in the future. But in the meantime, Chris is exited to work with VolunTEEN Nation to improve his community.

Christopher Devine

Christopher Devine is a sophomore at Dover-Sherborn High School. He is the Producer and Host of Political Update, a political news program on the DSCTV Channel in the greater-Boston area. He is a political activist, having positions on many campaigns for US Senate, Congress and state level races ranging from the volunteer coordinator, to Field Director. He is currently the media relations director for the Student Voice Project, and committed to helping others and the community around him. Christopher is a Massachusetts Ambassador for the campaign for a Presidential Youth Council and is a voice standing up for students across the country.

Dominique Bianco

Dominique is a 13-year-old vocalist and member of the Soldiers’, Sailors’, Marines’, Airmen Music Corps. Dominique received the Silver Service Presidential award at her middle school graduation this year.  She is the reigning Miss New York City’s Outstanding Teen 2014.  Over the past year Dominique has volunteered more than 100 hours and has organized fundraising events in Staten Island, Manhattan and Brooklyn. Raising more than $2,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals she is the recipient of the 2014 CMN Miracle Maker Scholarship award.  Each year she organizes the Miracle Game Night at SI Yankees. She has given speeches about volunteering and the Miss America Scholarship Program. Dominique has founded YES, IAM… Youth Empowerment thru Service, Inspiring All Millennials!Dominique recently launched the “YES” campaign to encourage more youth to pledge more time to their communities.
