Sophie Bernstein

Sophie Bernstein is a rising eighth grade student in St. Louis, MO. Sophie's eagerness to help our neighbors have access to recreational sports activities was the spark to create Aces for All. She is an active participant in all volunTEENnation's sports clinics and volunteer events. She completed her Magic House volunteer orientation this spring and plans to volunteer at The Magic House, St. Louis Children's Museum this summer. Sophie just planted her first vegetable garden with a grant from Katie's Krops to grow and deliver fresh produce to local food banks to help feed the hungry in the St. Louis community.

Varun Chakravarthy

VarunĀ is a senior at Clayton High School in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a Volunteen Nation Student Ambassador and is looking forward to organizing and hosting many events with Volunteen Nation. He also is a student volunteer teacher for Balvihar, the Center for Indian Cultural Education, helping to foster and preserve Indian cultural values amongst children, a volunteer at the Science Center, Barnes Jewish Hospital, Gateway Shelter, Habitat for Humanity, and Brentmoor Senior Living Facility. In addition, he is an Eagle Scout, and is able to bring his experience of being put in tough situations and leadership to Volunteen Nation. Like last year, he hopes to host a phenomenal Volunteer Fair this year and many other events that will continue to help the community for years to come.

Sophia Rotman

Sophia is a junior at Clayton High School in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a Volunteen Nation Student Ambassador in her area and helps plan many of their events. She also is a student volunteer for the Jewish Community Relations Council, as she educates teens in rural Missouri about Judaism hoping to promote unity and respect. In addition, she enjoys volunteering through her Girl Scout troop. She is an active teen volunteer who hopes to help and empower teens around the nation to volunteer as well.

Jonathan Knohl

Jonathan is a freshman at the University of Alabama, majoring in Finance and minoring in Political Science. During high school, Jonathan was very involved with DECA. He served as his chapter's president and competed on the international level during his senior year. At the University of Alabama, Jon will look to fulfill a leadership role in its DECA Chapter. He also plans to be very active in Student Government. He is the Southeast Regional Representative for Volunteen Nation.

Ken Zheng

Ken is a junior at Washington University in St. Louis studying computer science, He is currently the treasurer and graphics designer for Volunteen Nation.
