Top 10 Reasons to Use Volunteen Nation

1. Most volunteer sites on the internet are not really meant for teenagers. Volunteen Nation is solely meant for getting youth and teens involved in their communities.

2. Our resource section is designed for helping teens and youth, in addition to helping corporations and organizations reach out to this demographic.

3. The site is run by passionate young adults who either still are teenagers or vividly remember what it was like to be a teenager.

4. There is a whole section set up for grants to help teenagers start up their own service project for their community.

5. There are numerous scholarships out there based on volunteer opportunities, but these can sometimes be hard to find. We have a section dedicated to scholarships so as to make them easy to find and apply to.

6. Many websites do not keep fresh content, especially for the youth volunteer opportunities. We have volunteers dedicated to finding new opportunities all the time.

7. Have you tried navigating around other volunteer sites? They do not have the clean and intuitive site design that we worked hard to come up with. Enough with the unnecessary clutter!

8. We keep up with social media and reach out to the nation’s youth on Google+, Facebook, StumbleUpon, as well as Twitter. This makes it easier to keep in touch with us as you don’t have to constantly check back on the site to see what’s new. You can hear it right from favorite social media source!
